What is a Backup Method
How Sefthy copies the server data, what it protects and how it is installed. The Sefthy Agent runs the backup, there is nothing to pick.
The backup of a protected server is run by the Sefthy Agent, the program installed on the server itself. It copies the data to Sefthy storage and keeps the recovery points alive, the snapshots the machine boots from in the cloud on the day of the disaster. How long they last is decided by the DR plan, from 7 days on Sefthy TRIAL to 45 on Sefthy PRO.
What it protects
Servers or PCs, physical or virtual machines, it makes no difference.

On Windows the agent also installs the network drivers the restored machine needs, and reports VSS, pending reboots and other backup software present. On Linux those are not needed.
How you install it
The DR setup wizard generates a command for you to run on the server as administrator, and the agent does the rest. The details are in The Sefthy Agent.
When that command cannot run, for example because the customer antivirus blocks executables it does not know, the manual installation is still there.
Then you drive everything from the Console. You set the times with Backup Schedules on the DR page, where you also read the server state.
