How to add a Disaster Recovery
Activate a DR plan from the Console, from the customer to the emailed confirmation code, and land on the setup wizard.
A Disaster Recovery is activated from a single page. You pick the customer, the plan and the region, confirm the purchase and land on the DR page with the setup wizard already open.
- From the Disaster Recovery menu open the DR list and click Setup a new DR.
- In the Customer & name card give the DR a Name. It is there for you to recognise it in the list, for example “Acme HQ server”.
- Pick the Customer from the dropdown. If it does not exist yet, click New customer, fill in Legal name, VAT number and Address, then Create & select. The new customer stays selected.
- If the server you are protecting sits at a different address from the customer, tick The DR will be at a different address from the customer’s address and fill in the site address.
- Check the Region. The Console preselects the closest one to that address and you can change it.
- In Plan & billing pick the Billing interval. Annual, biennial and triennial include 1, 3 and 6 free months respectively.
- Click the card of the plan you need. Compare all plan features opens the full table.
- Tick I agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Setup a new DR.
- The Confirm DR purchase window opens with the order summary, the terms to accept and the field for the 6-digit code sent to your email. Enter the code and click Confirm and proceed to payment.
The code is valid for ten minutes. If it does not arrive, Resend appears after a minute.

The automatic restore test starts from the Sefthy plan, once a month, four times a month on PRO. Restore orchestration is on Sefthy and PRO. Proactive monitoring and Emergency VPN are on TRIAL and PRO.
The Sefthy TRIAL card only shows up while the trial is still available to your company, and you also see the Trial Available! chip above the DR list. The trial skips the confirmation window and is activated right away.
After the confirmation
If you pick the monthly interval and your company already has an active subscription, the current month is charged pro rata for the remaining days.
